454 MID kits

The 454 MID kits have been conceived for 454 sequencing platform users.

After DNA amplification with a MASTR assay, you can tag the resulting amplicons with MID barcodes and pool your samples. The 454 MID kits also contain primers for Genescan analysis of the tagged multiplexes, allowing a quality verification before launching the actual sequencing reactions.
Every 454 MID kit contains :
  • 8 MIDs with 24 PCR reactions per MID : 192 PCR reactions in total
  • 192 PCR reactions for Genescan (FAM) labelling
  • Sufficient Taq enzyme to perform all PCRs
